The pump type 25EVP80 is designed for operation as a "pilot" pump in automated sprinkling modular end pump stations for maintenance of the pressure in the piping when the basic pumps are not in operation.
The pump can be used in other fields where the parameters and the design of the pump meet the requirements.
The pump 25EVP80 is vertical, monostage centrifugal with operating parts submerged under the water level. The impeller is disposed in a spiral body. The transmission of the rotation from the electric motor to the impeller is transferred by a shaft system consisting of two or three shafts connected by fixed couplings. The number of shafts and intermediate bodies depends on the type and dimensions of the pump. The shafts are resting in radial sliding bearings fixed in the pipe body and on an upper bearing meeting consisting of a radial and an axial ball bearing.
The lubrication and cooling of the sliding bearings are done by the liquid transported. The upper bearing meeting is lubricated by a consistent bearing lubricant.
